GIVE
FOOD
A list of ways to give food.
DONATE TO THE FRIDGE
Help keep Jennifer Coolfridge stocked with fresh, ready-to-eat items and pantry staples. Please donate store-bought, sealed foods with clear labels. We cannot accept nuts, pork, or shellfish to respect allergies and dietary needs. Avoid expired items, open packages, and home-cooked food. Thank you for helping neighbors eat well today.
Donate Money
A gift of any size powers weekly grocery runs, delivery fuel, and cold-chain upkeep. Give online at https://givebutter.com/J0NpIj to support the Grocery Subsidy Program, set up a monthly donation to keep support steady, make a donation to our GoFundMe or write a check to Brothers & Sisters Cafe. 100% of funds go to food, supplies, and fridge maintenance—no overhead fluff.
Brookline Food Pantry
Need a larger shop or specific items? The Brookline Food Pantry offers regular distributions across multiple locations with set hours and eligibility details. We list addresses and pickup times on our GET FOOD page. If you’re new, we can help you get started discreetly. Use the fridge for quick needs and the Pantry for full baskets.
Give To Your Neighbors
Want to help directly? Pick up extra staples when you shop—rice, pasta, beans, canned tuna/chicken, tomato products, fruit cups, and hygiene items and ask your neighbors if they need support.
Donate Your Time
Two hours makes a difference. Sign up to restock and tidy the fridge, rescue food from local partners, or help with deliveries to homebound neighbors. We’ll train you and match tasks to your comfort and access needs. Volunteers keep the shelves safe, clean, and welcoming every day.
Food Drives
Organize a drive at your school, workplace, or faith community—our kit makes it easy. Focus on shelf-stable proteins, grains, sauces, low-sugar snacks, and hygiene supplies; exclude nuts, pork, and shellfish to keep donations inclusive. We can provide signage, pick-up, and a most-needed list. Drives are a great way to engage friends and fill the fridge fast.
